Over the last few weeks, I decided to challenge myself: could I build a fully functional SaaS platform using nothing but AI? No coding from scratch, no hiring developers, just me, a lot of prompts, and the latest AI tools.
The result is SimpleRSVPs.com, a free RSVP and event-page builder that lets anyone create clean, shareable event links in seconds.
I have been watching AI evolve for a while, and I wanted to know if it was really there yet—if it could take a concept in my head and turn it into a working business. This wasn’t about saving money or proving a point. It was about testing how far AI can go in helping creators turn ideas into real products. I gave myself a simple challenge: one week, one idea, one tool.
I used Replit as my development platform. It handled everything from writing code to testing, hosting, and deployment. Every function, every design choice, every line of code came from AI prompts.
